Trooper.ai provides a flexible and transparent billing system designed to optimize GPU server usage and expenses through the James management system. Below is a clear summary to help you effectively manage your GPU resources and budget.
Billing Intervals: Choose from hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly intervals.
Auto-Renewal: Available exclusively for weekly, monthly, and yearly intervals.
Auto Top-Up:
Prepaid Billing: You pay for the full billing interval (hour, day, week, or month) upfront. While payments are non-refundable, any unused time or amount can be credited towards upgrades or migrations.
Charges vary based on server status to maximize cost-efficiency:
Running Servers: Charged based on your selected billing interval (hourly, weekly, monthly, or yearly). Payments are charged upfront for the entire selected interval and are non-refundable.
Stopped Servers: Charged at 35% of the regular rate, as they continue occupying GPU resources and can be quickly started. The maximum duration for stopped servers occupying resources is currently 7 days and may change in the future; stopping servers should be used only in exceptional cases.
Frozen Servers: Charged at 10% of the regular rate, ideal for backup or load-balancing setups. Server restart depends on resource availability. NO GUARANTEED START.
Terminated Servers: No charges apply.
Servers with weekly, monthly or yearly contracts will not benefit from reduced pricing while stopped.
Data transfer is included up to 5 TB per GPU per month. Additional traffic is billed at 7 EUR per TB. To protect our network and ensure consistent service for all users, we monitor data transfer usage. Upon exceeding this allowance, we will contact you to discuss options for bandwidth management or purchasing additional data transfer.
Port scans are strictly forbidden and will result in the termination of your machine!
The system regularly checks payment periods and automatically deducts charges from your prepaid budget.
To start multiple servers simultaneously, ensure your budget covers at least the next 24 hours of each serverβs costs.
If your budget is insufficient, your server will transition from running to stopped, then frozen, and eventually terminated if funds are not replenished within 72 hours.
Servers that become out of balance with insufficient funds can be retroactively charged for up to 12 hours when funds become available again.
For monthly contracts terminated early, a partial credit may be provided based on regular server costs plus an early termination compensation fee. This credit will remain on your Trooper Pay account.
Budget on your Trooper Pay account cannot be withdrawn or refunded. It remains available exclusively for future Trooper.ai or Trooper Cloud services.
Trooper.ai accepts multiple payment methods:
Efficiently manage resources and budget through the following server state transitions as budget decreases:
A minimum initial budget may be required to create certain Blibs, particularly larger configurations like the InfinityAI 6x or 8x GPU Server Blibs. This requirement (e.g. 96 hours x β¬7.67 for an 8x) ensures resource availability during provisioning. Once the Blib is running, this initial amount is no longer reserved and is available for consumption.
Always consider your planned usage patterns β including stopping, freezing, or terminating and recreating β when managing your budget to account for associated costs.
